South Carolina Man Flies 1600's English Flag Because of His Heritage or Something

A South Carolina man, after looking up his ancestry online, decided to fly the English flag from 1606, stating that he is proud of his heritage. When asked why he chose his 1600's heritage to be proud of instead of, say, his 1700's or 1100's heritage, he refused to comment.

We've also received reports of a man tracing his lineage back to 1470's Spain who decided to fly a Spanish flag from that era. When informed that the Spanish Inquisition was established during that time, he promptly removed the flag and resumed being proud of his parents instead of people he knew nothing about and who were probably total dicks.
